I seek fresh ways to convey my love to my friends and family. It might look like providing for a need, extra time spent with them, a note or encouraging word. When God says His compassion is new each day, could He also be telling us that it is new in what it looks like?
God shows His love and compassion in the sacrifice of His Son, in the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, through the touch of His people. The manifestations of that are limitless and I am often surprised by it. For example, I was recently hit with a message from a pastor at the exact time that I needed it. His words provided comfort and hope.

Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. Isaiah 30:18
