Tonight starts the Jewish new year, Rosh Hashanah.
The Jewish people have a civil new year and a religious new year. Which is why this new year celebration falls in the seventh month of their calendar. That's really not as strange as it sounds. As westerners, we have a calendar year starting in January - but our rhythm of life really starts with the school year in the fall.
What are your hopes and goals for this new season? It's a fresh start!
