There are several new resources coming out right now so I thought I’d pause and pass those on.
Ray Vander Laan has a new volume for the That The World May Know series, entitled “Israel’s Mission.” If you are not familiar with this series, it is an outstanding way to learn the Bible in context. The lessons are perfect for small groups. A workbook is available but not necessary.
Speaking of RVL, the ministry website, formerly FollowtheRabbi.org, has been updated and moved to Thattheworldmayknow.com. It’s visually beautiful but feels like they may still be working some bugs out. I didn’t find as much content outside of the recordings but they may still be loading it. I’m hoping the many articles they had previously will continue to be available.
At En-Gedi Resource Center, you will find an excellent source for continued study. Lois Tverberg recently returned as director and she does a great job of finding and organizing articles, videos and books from many resources. This may become my new favorite site. Be sure to also check out her own website, Our Rabbi Jesus, for original articles and blogs.
I’m looking forward to continuing to worship through study of the Bible with you and keeping the conversation going! I have previous posts available on WTWN for the Pentecost celebration this week (search Pentecost). They can be used for your own reflection or to pass on to your groups for discussion.
Hag Shavuot Sameach! Happy Pentecost!
