Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:12-17
Beloved brothers and sisters, we together are God’s Temple. Just as with the ancient pagan temples, a temple is where the world looks to see what the gods were like. God chose us to be His temple. He chose us to show the world Who He is. Let’s strengthen His temple. Let’s build up one another as the pillars and stones that together reveal the glory of our God. I see some cracks in our grout, some breaks in our stones – maybe even some columns have fallen. Let’s join together with the hand of the Master to rebuild what we’ve torn down. And so proclaim the true nature of our glorious God. Hallelujah and Amen!
In your heart do not think evil of each other. Zechariah 7:10
Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Romans 14:19
