How blessed I am. I have been loved. It’s a wonderful thing.
I recently lost a dear friend that I loved, but it strikes me deeper that she loved me. What a precious gift that is. I know without a doubt that my parents love me and I have the treasure of other close friends that love me as well.
More importantly, God loves me and it is completely undeserved. My friends and I show our love imperfectly, but God loves us perfectly.
I hope you get to experience the love of many as I have. It is a great blessing to hold. Maybe it can start with the assurance that there is One who loves you - and He does so perfectly. That assurance enables us to go out and love others in return.
My desire is to leave a legacy of people who KNOW I loved them, even if imperfectly. And that I pointed them to a God who loves them perfectly.
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. 2 Thessalonians 3:5
