Looking Ahead

Someone wrote that the week between Christmas and the New Year represents a pause - a time to relax and reflect. This is typically true for me, but not this year! Much of this season has been busy, working behind the scenes on some infrastructure so WTWN can grow into its next stage.

I’m excited (and a little nervous) about the new platform. I think it will offer better communication and hence, better learning for all of us. But tech is not my language so I step carefully, holding the hands of those walking with me. And honestly, I’m glad we’re completing our work and ready to launch. It will free me up to return to what I love, studying and teaching. And learning together to love God and each other.

Here’s what’s coming:

A new website – It will be responsive on your mobile devices for easier access and will have more social media integration to widen the conversation. WTWN will have its own Facebook page, which will interact with the site. And Twitter, Delicious and Google plus will all be linked.

So here’s where you can join in. Any day now you will get notice that these sites are up. Sign up for the weekly posts. Like the Facebook page. Follow me on twitter. This will expand the conversation to our friends and family and widen our conversation.

As we approach the end of 2015, a reminder that your tax-deductible gifts of any size are appreciated and used with great care. It allows me to continue to expand resources and teaching opportunities, which are the core of the ministry. Your referrals and recommendations are invaluable as I build the 2016 calendar.

There are many that help make WTWN happen – financial supporters, prayer partners, editors and wordsmiths, tech builders and designers, dreamers and encouragers. I thank God for each one. And I thank God for your support and fellowship.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
